Marah Khasawneh

Lead Associate

Marah is experienced in the field of corporate governance and restructuring, with a particular focus on establishing holding companies, restructuring subsidiary entities, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, company conversions, formulating family constitutions, advising on optimal tax structures, and successful closing of complex business deals. She also provides legal guidance across a broad spectrum of corporate matters, including commercial transactions, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and company registration in various jurisdictions such as Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the British Virgin Islands, and Delaware. Her work frequently involves collaborating with advisors across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring seamless cross-border legal support. 
In addition to her expertise in M&A and corporate restructuring, Marah routinely advises corporations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) on a wide range of legal matters, including drafting and reviewing business and commercial contracts, as well as advising on labor law, company law, social security law, civil law, and income tax law.
Furthermore, Marah has played a pivotal role in the development of legal frameworks for both domestic and international special economic zones, providing strategic advice on legislative and regulatory gaps to ensure compliance and effectiveness in these areas.
