Salma Jouaneh

Trainee Associate

Salma Jouaneh began her legal career in London after graduating from the University of York with an LLB in Law, achieving Upper Second-Class Honours (Division One). She gained experience at one of the UK’s prominent legal aid law firms, where she worked as a Family Caseworker across a range of complex family law matters. Her practice included public and private children law proceedings, international child abduction, financial divorce, and child arrangements. In this role, Salma managed a varied caseload, drafted legal documents, prepared matters for court, and liaised with counsel, experts, and clients, including individuals in vulnerable circumstances. In 2026, Salma returned to Amman and joined Saed Karajah and Partners as a Trainee Associate. Her current practice spans corporate, intellectual property, and litigation matters, where she is involved in contract drafting and review, legal research, case management, and regulatory and procedural matters. She also assists in coordinating with clients, government authorities, and other relevant stakeholders. Drawing on her experience in both the United Kingdom and Jordan, Salma brings an international perspective to her practice and is committed to delivering clear, practical, and accessible legal solutions. She has a particular interest in advancing access to justice and approaches her work with diligence, precision, and a strong focus on clients’ needs.
