Non-for-Profit Organizations

With lawyers that helped draft the Jordanian Associations law, our Non-For-Profit division has been the bedrock of the firm since its inception. We take pride in our clients’ philanthropic work in local and international communities and advise them on the planning and implementation of their projects and initiatives.

Our team partners closely with clients, ranging from young entrepreneurs starting their first non-for-profit, to well-established associations, charities, foundations, and professional societies. As a result, we have developed deep insight into the needs and requirements of non-for-profits and a genuine consideration for the sensitive nature that such organizations operate in.

We advise our clients on a full-range of legal and procedural matters including foreign funding, sponsorship, donors and awards, education and training, food programs, housing and infrastructure, employment issues, licenses and permits, public policy, regulatory framework and liability matters.

Key Experience:

  • Participated in the Ministerial Committee for advising on the draft Associations Law.
  • Instructed by a public authority to provide a comprehensive white paper on desired reforms to foreign funding regulations.
